When our whole body settles into itself, expansively and just as it-- in the grip of heartache,
revving in restlessness or constricted by pain-- it offers wisdom in accessing healing. Sometimes, we
need an attentive companion to accompany us on this journey, to bear witness to and support our
process. I am honored to support you along the way.
"What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open to it doesn't make it go away. And because it is true, it is there to be interacted with... People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it." (Eugene Gendlin, Focusing, 1982)

With gratitude & homage to the T’epot’aha’l, the yak titʸu titʸu yak tiłhini & Ohlone where I live and work
I hold a tenured faculty position in the area of psychology and am a certified somatic-based mental wellness practitioner with over 25 years of experience. My area of counseling concentrates in Emotional Stuckness, Heartache & Bereavement & Personal Development. Additionally, my work extends into facilitating White Embodied Antiracism Practices ("WEAPing"). My approach is collaborative, based in humanistic-existential psychology and feminist lineages and somatic techniques. At the heart of my facilitative process is compassionate inquiry, paying close attention to what emerges within the body-mind holistic experience. I hold the radical belief that wellness and aliveness lives within the fabric of being human, and accessing our wellspring sometimes needs a supportive and collaborative space for it to unfold. Integral to my work is accountability, the mutual exchange of feedback, and the maintenance of professional ethical standards.
With Gratitude & Homage to my Teachers . . .
