When our whole body settles into itself, expansively and authentically-- whether in the grip of heartache,
revving in restlessness or constricted by pain-- it offers wisdom in accessing healing. Sometimes, we
need an attentive companion to accompany us on this journey, to bear witness to and support our
process. I am honored to support you along the way.
"What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open to it doesn't make it go away. And because it is true, it is there to be interacted with... People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it." (Eugene Gendlin, Focusing, 1982)

With gratitude & homage, I live & work on the unceded territory of the T’epot’aha’l and the yak titʸu titʸu yak tiłhini.
I hold a tenured faculty position in the area of psychology and am a certified somatic-based mental wellness counselor with over 25 years of experience. My area of counseling concentrates in the areas of Emotional Stuckness / Heartache & Bereavement / Personal Development. Additionally, my work extends to individuals and small groups who seek to deepen their work in white-embodied antiracism. My approach is facilitative and collaborative, having lineages in humanistic-existential psychology, feminism, antiracism practices and somatic techniques. At the heart of my facilitative process is compassionate inquiry, while paying close attention to what emerges within the body-mind experience. I hold the radical belief that gentle and supported somatic-based exploration can open up increased connection to our most authentic being, deepest values and internal strengths. Integral to my work is accountability, the mutual exchange of feedback, and the maintenance of professional ethical standards.
