When our whole body settles into itself, expansively and just as it is-- whether in the grip of heartache,
revving in restlessness or constricted by pain-- it offers wisdom in accessing healing. Sometimes, we
need an attentive companion to accompany us on this journey, to bear witness to and support our
process. I am honored to support you along the way.
"People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it." (Eugene Gendlin, Focusing, 1982)
"The body is not a thing, it is a situation: it is our grasp on the world and our sketch of our project". (Simone de Beauvoir, The Second Sex, 1949)

I hold a tenured faculty position teaching developmental psychology & counseling skills & theory. Additionally, I am a certified somatic-based mental wellness practitioner with over 25 years of experience. My area of counseling concentrates in Heartache & Bereavement, Regret, Identity Authenticity and Deepening our Capacity to Thrive. Additionally, my work extends into facilitating White Embodied Antiracism Practice ("WEAPing"). Both areas are grounded in an emergent & collaborative process, rooted in humanistic-existentialism, feminist lineages & somatic techniques. As such, compassionate inner inquiry and paying close attention to what emerges within the body-mind holistic experience are at the heart the process. I uphold the radical belief that wellness and aliveness live within the fabric of being human, and that accessing our unique wellspring sometimes needs a supportive and collaborative space to unfold. Integral to my work is accountability, the mutual exchange of feedback, and the maintenance of professional ethical standards.
